Research Data and Knowledge Support
University of Louvain
Bruna Esperi supports the Lab’s research infrastructure through data curation, database harmonisation and knowledge management. Her work improves the accessibility, interoperability and long-term reuse of urban metabolism data while engaging researchers and stakeholders in collaborative processes.
Bruna Esperi provides research data and knowledge support to the Urban Metabolism Lab. Her work focuses on the curation and harmonisation of databases produced across interdisciplinary urban metabolism projects, where differences in scale, terminology, method and format can limit comparison and reuse.
She helps establish shared data structures, documentation practices and collaborative workflows that improve accessibility and sustain the knowledge generated by the Lab over time. This work includes engagement with researchers and project stakeholders so that data-management processes respond to scientific requirements as well as the needs of potential users. By connecting technical organisation with collaborative knowledge production, she supports reproducibility, continuity between projects and the development of integrated evidence for urban planning and policy.
