Event overview
An AScUS 2024 thematic session discussed how agency can be incorporated into urban-metabolism concepts, models and practice. The session presented results from aIST-nexus and brought together conceptual analysis, model selection and stakeholder-oriented approaches to actionable urban sustainability research.
The contribution is developed through Thematic session, conceptual synthesis, model comparison, and stakeholder discussion. The geographical or conceptual scope is International. It was presented at Actionable Science for Urban Sustainability (AScUS 2024), Troyes, France during 20–22 March 2024.
The contribution reflects the Lab’s interdisciplinary approach, combining quantitative and qualitative evidence to translate urban-metabolism research into planning, design, governance or policy.
