The Peccioli Charter proposes a shared framework for understanding and supporting resilient communities. Written collectively, it sets out principles intended to connect environmental transition, civic responsibility, spatial transformation and new forms of urban governance.

The charter treats resilience as a collective and political project grounded in local capacities, shared resources and long-term transformation. It provides a normative framework through which communities and institutions can discuss the values and commitments required for sustainable transition.

Daniela Perrotti’s contribution connects the charter with urban-metabolism thinking and the circular organisation of resources. The publication complements the Lab’s work on agency, community practices and the governance of socio-ecological change.
