WSBE24 was ultimately held online from 12 to 14 June 2024. The conference addressed pathways and partnerships for sustainable built and urban environments. The previously planned Montréal event did not take place in that form.

Daniela Perrotti was a member of the Scientific Committee and chaired the Urban Metabolism conference track. Her role supported scientific exchange on urban metabolism, sustainable built environments and resource efficiency.

The event reflects the Lab’s interdisciplinary approach, translating urban-metabolism research into planning, design, governance and policy discussions.
